Update #8

Hi everyone!

Thanks for the nice comments! It's very important that you're like what you're seeing, so, I know I'm in the right path.

Ok, after some user tests in this week for level 3 and some adjusts, finally finished it. As I'm getting more experienced with the game, things got a little faster now. Still has a lot to code, just using what I already have.

Notice about art:
It's not my strongest part. I'm trying not to focus in it right now, just want to explore what it could be done with multi views. Possibly, after that, I'll start to look around someone to help. =)

Ok, for this next week, the job will be on a 'How to' level. Will use the first tileset for this, as it's something more simple and quick. It's going to start with just 1 view and, as the hero touches the switch, it will show the other from above. Here's a first image of just 1 view.

See you next week with more updates! (Or before that, how know)

Update #9

Hi everyone,

In this week I got the Introduction level ready. Starting with just one view and boom: another one shows up. =)

As I want to submit a really good work to IGF, I'll take 2 weeks of my vacation, so I can polish a little more what I'm planning.

What a clever use of perspective to create puzzles.  It reminds me a bit of Monument Valley, but with more of an Echochrome feel.  I must ask though, did you get the name from Adventure Time?  It may cause issues when people go searching for your game, there's a great chance your results will be buried.  Just a word of warning.

Hi Highsight, thanks for your help! As said in the first post, I got it from Adventure Time. I really don't know yet if it's going to be buried or not, but, it's a hell of a tribute for AT. =p

Hey man, lovin' what I'm seeing here :D
Are you from São Paulo? If yes, I'd love to play this in an IGDA or SPIN meeting Tongue

Have you played Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Wii U)?
I loved that game, and, at least for me, I got similar vibes from your game Tongue
If you haven't played it, I highly recommend it, you could grab some ideas from it Smiley

Fala Chaoseiro, (nick foda! =D )

<->
I still need to start the marketing plan of my game, we are currently remaking the art style, so it will take some time before we have something worth to show, but I've already taken it to developers meetings and the feedback was invaluable.

Nice! I want to see it! =D
I started to market my game after 3 months of work. Before that, I don't think it was worth it to show. Do you have a team? I think, after finishing this demo, I'll start looking for some investment... doing alone and in my spare time is really taking a lot of effort.
