the funny thing is that es isn't even a great pick, because you'd have to let meepo jump on someone, probably killing them, before all 5 would be there to echoslam. (of course this assumes that the meepo isn't stupid as shit.) meepo can murder es pretty fast.
remember when glaiel finally got to do es vs. meepo, he was like 1/15. we won, but definitely not cuz of earthshaker.

I'm satisfied with those Lycan nerfs. looks almost damn near impossible to jungle with him now. your wolves will die even faster and cost more mana. if you want to get any jungling done you'll either have to pull until you level up more or tank the neutrals yourself. neither of those options sound very pleasant. I expect to see more lycan's stay in lane for a few levels and then head to the jungle. some noobs still do that now actually..
don't think those Clockwerk buffs will make him much better, but glad he's getting attention. still one of my favorite heroes.
I really like Shadow Fiend's new passive component to Requiem of Souls. makes losing those souls a bit less painful now.

The most interesting thing in the patch to me is the rework of Treant's Living Armor into a targeted global skill. Considering that it costs so little mana and heals for 80-200 over the duration, it could be used to boost the lane of a melee carry on the other side of the map. It's going to make Treant feel like a unique hero instead of just a slightly weaker Tidehunter.

HUGE buffs to Alchemist.
- Acid Spray damage per second increased from 8/16/24/32 to 14/20/26/32 - Acid Spray manacost from 160 to 130/140/150/160 - Chemical Rage Base Attack Time decreased from 1.45/1.3/1.15 to 1.4/1.2/1.0 - Goblin's Greed counter duration increased from 20 to 25 seconds - Goblin's Greed bonus gold scaling adjusted from 2/4/6/8 + 2 to 4/6/8/10 + 1/2/3/4 - Unstable Concoction max damage increased from 130/200/270/340 to 150/220/290/360 - Unstable Concoction no longer displays the countdown numbers to enemies - Unstable Concoction always affects a 175 area around where it explodes
This sounds like it's gonna make him a bit more viable. Damage, mana cost, and utility buffs across the board.

if anything I can at least see him being a pub stomper now. the changes to shadow blade and armlet are quite favourable to him as well.
same thing with the doom bringer changes. being able to take any creep at level 1 is a big deal.

alch with a soul ring already can farm extremely well, these changes are going to make him absurd. the problem with alch is that he's so sensitive to buffs and nerfs because a gold advantage can be so beneficial.

People DO realize Alch was a GOD tier pick before they made a TINY 100hp nerf on his ulti! I mean really he didn't need -all- that he already can double stack 2-3 camps at once, take ancients in lane and stop pushes cold with spray. Doom:- Devour creep level restriction removed Stealing lvl 1net/stomp/nado in lane is going to be godlike doom new bot lane carry! - Devour cooldown from 60/55/50/45 to 70/60/50/40 - Devour gold from 40/60/80/100 to 25/50/75/100 - Devour manacost from 60 to 60/50/40/30 - Level Death bonus damage now deals 20% of Max HP instead of a fixed amount - Level Death damage increased from 100/150/200/250 to 125/175/225/275 - Scorched Earth damage/heal increased from 12/16/20/24 to 12/18/24/30

Valve hasn't said anything about the release but I would guess after all the heros are released. we're at 92/105 currently and aside from the few weeks before and after TI2 they usually have at least one hero every week.
hopefully sometime this year though.

I have come to realize that Rod of Atos on Lina is a thing.
1. Cheaper and easier to build than Hex 2. Provides INT and HP, the two things that Lina needs the most 3. Slows targets. Stun is now a guaranteed hit since it is impossible to dodge when 50% slowed.
Treads into Atos into Scepter is extremely easy to build and makes her more reliable, deal more damage, and not be so squishy and easy to kill anymore.
I've also experimented with the skill build a bit. I leave Q at level one as long as possible so I can use it as a last-hitting tool. Lina's attack animation is still hilariously shit so last-hitting with spells is often needed, and then you want to keep the mana cost low.

I imagine Silencer could use Atos decently well too. I don't know, I rarely if ever play Silencer and usually fail when I do so.

every time I think I want an atos I slap myself and buy a force staff instead. even a eul's would be more useful, especially since it has move-speed and mana regen.
can't honestly think of a single situation where I'd buy it over force staff. and if you want to survive team fights a bkb would always be better than rod of atos.
just seems like an awful waste of gold.

Specifically on Lina though, you're not going to get the same benefit from a Force Staff that you would have received from Atos. Force may let you run away from fights, but Atos guarantees a stun and provides twice the amount of Intelligence so you can actually afford to cast your ultimate. Also, Lina doesn't benefit from the attack speed that Force gives.
