Sadly all three hostels are booked up, and I can't find any reasonably priced hotels anywhere nearby.

Would anyone be able to put us (me and harry) on their floor for a night? (we can bring sleeping bags)

Otherwise I guess we'll just have to come for one day and not stay over

Haighstrom: just sent you an email, accommodation shouldn't be a problem.

See you all on Saturday!

Sorry I can really offer accomodation, but if anyone needs a lift there or back (e.g. from some inconvenient place in Bristol/Bath that I can swing past on the way in), then let me know.

Edit: Oh bollocks, turns out I don't have the car, and I'll be getting the train in. Ah well, least I can have a couple of beers on Saturday evening!

See you there!

Looking forward to jam tomorrow! Do we have to bring our own toast?

So, who's going to be first to post up what they came up with at the jam?

The answer is me!

Not that mine ended up being very much! This is the same old buggy build where particles are entities and you get slowdown and after a while the balls don't respond properly to the tarot cards. I can see myself coming back to this one though. Any ideas on it?

The all-important follow-up question is, of course, who will be second?

Meh.

Made this thing for the horrible theme (sorry people) Witchcraft and Breakfast.

Thanks for organising the Jam Draknek - good fun Smiley next time I'm taking a mode of transport that lets me get thoroughly rat arsed in the pub afterwards though... (not that just being on diet coke stopped me from talking my usual amount of bullshit Smiley )

I feel quite amazed that I can now actually distribute stuff, as opposed to the pygame era of before.

Here is "Alistair Aitcheson Flinging His Own Head At Strange Glowing Light Bulbs" (working title).

It features all black and blue graphics and all sprites being created from photos (as per jam limitations). I've also created some sound effects and stuck in a track that I wrote a year or two ago.

BEST GAME EVER

I'm not sure which bit I like more: the fact that it's somehow turned from a platformer into a shmup, or the fact that I get to fire my own disembodied heads at enemies from my outstretched arms.

Wait, scratch that - it's the latter  Well, hello there!

Yeah thanks for organising it Alan!!

Once I have some free time I might make a PDF of the rules for the ridiculous argument card game that Alan, Natalie and I made, after a spell of frustratedly trying to make a sensible cardgame. In fact I might also try a sensible version of that card-based Rock Paper Scissor game.

Paul, you should find out how to distribute that PyGame music game!

I loved the card game! Seriously, I think that could go down really well on a TV panel game like Have I Got News For You or Whose Line is it Anyway  Durr...?
