Well, let's see... 'i'... Apple's 'i' brand, mebbe?  '!' is MG's notation for enemy detection.  'weird power icon' is a weird power icon, no lead there.  The url has 'mgst', so it's probably MG: Tactics for the iPhone. EDIT: nvm, I waited a little while, and discovered 'the next metal gear is...KONAMI'. Case closed. |

Yeah, I've seen this just about everywhere that covers games, in the 24 hours that it first came up.
Whatever they did to make this viral ad, it must have worked really, really, well.

It's a bit strange, but I love cutscene intensive games. I acutally don't know why. Those games don't even have to have a good story. I just like them anyway... |

I think that it is safe to say that the Metal Gear Acid theory is the best bet. However, I don't know why they would use a color that is so iconic with the 360 for their advertisement. However, it may just be related to the acid part of Metal Gear Acid. Either they are screwing with everyone's heads, didn't realize that the icon looked so similar or it is going to be a multi-plat game. I wouldn't go so far as to say that it is impossible for MGA to be on 360 due to the fact that last generation MGS2 was multi-plat. Who knows how exclusive it really is. I mean, everyone was pretty damn sure that FFXIII would be exclusive and we all saw how that played out. I don't know maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part but I would like to see a Metal Gear game on the 360 sometime. |

Isn't it obvious? They're using a color most often associated with Sprite to indicate that it's going to be in 2D with raster graphics.
