var myNum:Number = math.Floor (math.Random () * 100);

Ok, so it's not a 'real' programming language, but it's not like this a real thread either.

I shall be the moderator of this duel.

The weapons are maths and the fight will last 3 consecutive rounds. The man still standing after the last round of maths shall be the winner.

It has to be a programming duel. In that way, this thread can be redeemed.

Something like this:

for (int i=0, i<1000, i++){
   load(i) as bullet();
   pull_trigger();
   return dead_corpse;
}

If I saw 47, I'd shit myself. That guy will kill people just to steal their clothes.

Or better yet, it should be an ACTUAL programming duel. Whoever can make the best game in 90 minutes, starting now, is the winner.

Oh man that is such an awesome idea. We need an official way for challenging people to a game dev duel. Its like any argument on TIGS can potentially turn into a two-person minicompo!

Well, I guess. It's not like it would be a real duel...

Official TigSOURCE duelling regulations, version 0.1.

  • the duel shall begin when the challengee accepts the terms, or at a time that the challengee agrees to.
  • duellists shall use no pre-existing assets or code, on their honour as gentlemen
  • the winner shall be decided by popular acclaim, on the merits of the games created
  • it shall be customary, but not required, to humiliate your opponent using the design of your game
  • a judge shall appoint himself/herself to moderate the duel, and adjudicate in cases where a clear winner cannot be found by popular acclaim

Yes! Shall we start a separate thread for this in Competitions?

I might challenge you to a duel when I get home, Benzido. I don't like how many obscure games you know.
