I was just in Montreal and told everyone how it was colder there than in Helsinki. Then I came back to this:

We had snow here a few days ago. Then it disappeared.
When I was younger, the first day it was snowing, my mom would wake me up early and tell me to look out the window, and I was absolutely ecstatic. Sledding, snowmen, snowball fights, and all that good stuff.
Now they've built houses on all the good sledding hills, and the other two have lost their allure. Snow to me just sort of means "Oh boy. Colder and harder to bike."
I miss being younger.

Man, I love snow. But I live in Australia, so the only time you can see snow is when you climb up a mountain. To live in a place where snow comes to you would be amazing.

Well I guess, nothing beats where I am. For those who wonder, Oulu (Uleåborg) is one of the northernmost big-cities of Finland. Two nights ago there was snow to my ankle; so this morning I woke up to come to school, only to find the snow now reaches half the way to my belly.

Hold it! I'm coming over there!

It's snowing like crazy over here, but it essentially has the same effect as raining, just slower and colder.

WHERE ARE YOU I WANT TO BE THERE
We've only had snow showers that last the morning but on a few occasions so far, I can't wait till we get some that really stays. On a somewhat different note, the Sunday before last I was at my dads house. Something very unusual was happening. In the front yard snow was slowly falling down. In the back though, snow was slowing rising up (real story, makes since if you know where my dad lives)

December 20, 2006 This was classified as a natural disaster. But it's such a pretty disaster! Also, I'm Brazilian. It's more likely for me to see an alien than to see snow.

Yeah, Australia, little to no snow. ALTHOUGH: Yesterday it snowed. We're on the brink of Summer (30, 35 Degrees C) and there it is snowing up in the mountains. Crazy times. I'd love to see snow one day, though. Looks very nice, and cold. It's snowing like crazy over here, but it essentially has the same effect as raining, just slower and colder.
I mean, something like that. I like the sound of that!

Well I'm actually quit pleased this winter, we don't have much on the ground as of yet. It's just below my perfect winter weather level.

Snow is bloody cold, but beautiful. Suddenly everything is white and quiet, and there's tiny little sparkles everywhere.

We've had two minor snowfalls so far here. I enjoy snow, I like walking in it. I think my favourite part about it is the haunting calm and quiet you get while the light pollution reflects off the ground illuminating the snow in the air, causing the air to be a dull reddish colour, its fantastic.

I live in Texas. North Texas, though, so we get snow occasionally. Usually in February. It's only ever a few inches though. Enough to take pretty pictures and play in for about an hour or so.
Snow is neat and all, but I don't like cold weather much.
