The social aspect of the game makes me  I know I have to buy this on launch day. And the bit about threading yourself through the donut-shaped clouds was also highly enticing. But it does make me wonder, what the hell was going on with that 2D trailer? Was it just to tease us? |

third one makes the most sense, but...it's weird that they'd release a video where the player seems to be having quite a frustrating time. Or maybe it's not? I dunno.

It looks more like a good-bad B game than an actual bad game to me. It seems it's planned more as a cheap downloadable toy than a full game, so I haven't really been considering in the terms of 'the next katamari' or anything ... edit: 1UP: The stage we saw was a city that the player moves around in and interacts with. Will any of the later stages feature specific objectives, activities, or minigames for players to participate in?
KT: I suspect the sort of things like that that everyone's expecting aren't going to be in this game. I'm sorry.
1UP: What do you think is the main reason players will want to keep playing after the novelty of the character/controls wears off?
KT: It's the perfect break after winding down from a game of Killzone 2 and before starting up God of War 3.

As a man who reads the game's title as "Noddy Noddy Boy" I half expect to see Big Ears turn up so I guess it's understandable to be disappointed that that will never happen.
