Hey Friends,
So I've been talking back and forth with Ninto. We've been getting our versioning and sharing software up and running, we are still in the planning phase. We are still trying to decide on what targets to make this for. Easist would be Flash, but I do have the ability to program in either C#(xna, also easy, but a problem as it would be for) or C++.
Of course we could try and jump into something a little more complicated, like the monicle engine or something...
@Stef1a What libraries did you work with?

Please don't do silhouette in front of a gradient sky. Your other stuff is so great it would be a shame to spoil it with such a hackneyed cliche.

Maybe Flash's Stage3D stuff would be an interesting choice. Maybe you could give the Starling Framework a try. But I never used the framework and st33d is not that impressed by it... Also I don't know the status of stage3d on iOS.

I got it. Clouds! That's what differs from whole sunset picture. Maybe shade them gray?

Yeah, I've got a base version of the game up and running in Flixel, but I'm not adverse to trying and finding a 3d solution for 2d. It's too bad that Starling is trying to be so flash specific, I'm not too worried about following how flash does things, I've got a wide enough base of knowledge. I would love a 3d solution, mostly for shaders. Though I don't think we are trying to target IOS right now, I also don't know how well Air does with Stage 3d.

Looks like you can do the simple shaders that are possible in normal AS3-3d style, which should be alright, the limitations won't effect what I would want to do with them. Such has dynamic day night shading and maybe water business.
