Yay, I climbed my first mountain. I still find this awesome. The graphical simplicity goes well with it, and it's satisfying to beat. I like the subtle wind noise.

If you're looking for a challenge, Mt. AIDS lives up to its name quite well.
Also: -Mt. Elvis -Mt. Gazebo (don't anger it) -Mt. Scratchnsniff -Mt. Mortar (like in Pokemon!) -Mt. $%&FGH$& -Mt. Diet-Rite
are all quite fun. I love this game! Of all the games in the comp this is the one I keep coming back to.

This looks good but it cant be played with my Apple Mighty Mouse as it seems to require pressing both right and left button at once? i couldn't get past the rope part of Mt. Tutorial.
Any ideas?

I have the same mouse; you can rope without using the on-rope spin and get through most mountains.

Stupid Apple, not letting people play my game with their silly mouse design. They are rubbish at design.
I'll have a go at adding an alternative 'spin button' to overcome this problem.

Thanks
I know people are saying you can get by without the right mouse button but I can't figure out how to do that in this game

Right. Browser version is now fixed so Mac users can play.
You can now spin by either holding down left mouse button in the air OR holding down Q.
Hope you Mac users out there can now enjoy the game properly!

I still can't play this on the Mac with a single button mouse. I can get the rope to appear but he just doesn't let go again. Luckily my mouse can be switched to two buttons so I could swing on ropes in the end. I love the visuals, and style. The controls are idiosyncratic, and I can't say I was too enamoured with them. Overall pretty good though. Good work.

I dunno what it is but I'm just really awful at this game.
I just can't seem to figure out how to get up an overhang. I'm gonna keep practicing. Maybe after playing for a while it'll just "click".
I hope I never crash land in the Himalayas or I'm totally screwed.

You can use wasd to swing on the rope. wasd also influences your direction while jumping/falling. Hope that helps!

Those floating text tips in the tutorial mountain seem to appear shortly *after* you've already demonstrated you don't don't need them. Particularly the ones about the rope. Solid game. It's infuriating when I misjudge a jump or rope and I fall all the way back to the base, but it never feels like it was anything but my own fault.
