I propose an official twitter hashtag for organizing activities. #tigdc maybe?
Easy to confuse with "tiggdc", but good otherwise.

I've refreshed the first post with a bunch of info contained in these pages. Let me know if there's anything I missed that should be highlighted.
Really looking forward to seeing everyone in whatever meet-up capacity transpires.

Kayla: thanks for the useful digest post! I tweet intermittently at @slh_1 and I'll probably do some tweeting during GDC. Decided it might be nice if people know what I look like so they can say hi if they see me. Chances are I'll be in a volunteer t-shirt a lot of the time, which narrows down your options if you don't remember the picture too well. Especially come find me if you're from Seattle or the Bay Area, since there is a reasonable likelihood we can meet up again! (yes, that is a giant plastic Mario ear, and I am being photobombed. I don't have so many pictures of myself)

Aw. *hugs* You might be able to scrounge a pass off someone if you're lucky. I just got rid of my spare summit pass yesterday, otherwise I'd offer it - sorry! I just saw this guy's post: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=18043.0 - he's offering passes in exchange for lots of work; might be a solution? Contacted c-hecks and he has a lot of applicants so I dunno if that'll work out. Still on the lookout for other options. Might have to go chicago style, aka guns blazin'.

I am getting to San Francisco on Monday.
I will likely see many of you there.
High-fives and/or fist bumps will be exchanged.

My flight lands at 17:20 tomorrow night. That means I should be at the hostel where I am staying at at 7ish I guess.
If anyone is planning on dicking around on saturday evening I'd be well up for it and last year I sat alone in a hotel room for 2 days.

Heads up: Weather forecast says snow. This is rare for the Bay Area and it probably won't mean much inside the city limits(too low, too buffered by ocean), but it will be colder than last year and the roads will get icy, which the traffic is unfamiliar with.

If any of you have a pass you're not using one of those days, let me know. I'd love to hitch a free ride Otherwise, I'm free to hang out in the evenings with y'all

The National Weather Service forecast and some tweets I've seen make it sound like the snow panic has subsided. The upcoming week is supposed to be high 50s and mostly cloudy with a chance of rain on most of the days, as of now. Not so bad.

Hehe, yeah I'll say! Yesterday it was -29 F (-34C) with wind chill in Winnipeg. Looking forward to such warm temperatures in SF!
