The new sprite definitely looks better, now he doesn't just look like he's wearing a skull mask. But the revamped teeth will probably draw even more comparisons to Behemoth.  |

Oh. THOSE. I think I played one game that contained them once. I didn't know they had names I see what you mean, but I guess that stuff happens. Skullpogo was also called an Indestructotank (or however your spell) clone. People just like to see similarities. |

Just checked out the "thread" or whatever on pixeljoint. Yeah, they're also both purple I guess a problem is that the old sprite (and the concept art) has three "teeth" and it looks like he just has two teeth in the latest version. Dunno if Chevy did that intentionally or if I'm just seeing things. Well, all in all, I still like the new sprite lots. I can also understand people poiting out those similarities, but I am sure it feels different enough  |

Looks a bit like skeleton-t as well but really the style in the sprite is very different to the simplified style of him and behemoth. |

I was waiting for someone to say something about Behemoth. The first drawings I ever did of Skullboy were a bit different, and I've been drawing him for quite some time now. I drew him before I went through my Dan Paladin phase. Though I really only got into Alien Hominid and the then unreleased Castle Crashers. Lo and behold I stumbled upon Dad n' Me and I just WAITED for someone to say something about Behemoth. I'm not a Behemoth ripper-offer. :D As for Indestructotank, I never played it. |

Dad'nd me characters has a skull mask, skullboy head is a skull, the feeling is very different as the style but there are a freaking lot of similarities, i call that subconscius ripoffery, or it's just the fact that purple and white are so nice together :D even if seeying two skeleton-like figures totally wearing something purple Anyway it's clear that dad 'n' me (the behemoth is the software house) characters are inspired more by Jason than a skeleton |
