Got an spamail today about a game creation software for mobile phones called Mo'Mini. Does anyone know about the project? Is it legit?

Hideous told me about it earlier. It looks ridiculously polished. Alas, I don't have a java-enabled phone, and I don't want the only way to play my own games to be an emulator.

I was wondering when a discussion about this would show up. I got it too, and after much consideration, actually got the software (which required registration, lame) but I haven't had a look at it yet.

As pretty much everybody else I too got the email and took a quick look at the software. It does look pretty good (although I did notice some spelling errors in the GUI) and seems to have pretty good video tutorials supporting it. Although the method of advertising it may be a bit weird it does seem to have quite the potential (a Game Maker esque app for mobile games is pretty sweet).
My phone IS Java enabled, but I don't really know how to get stuff on it, nor does it have memory for more than like 3MB.

I got it too, a couple of days ago. Seems like a dick move to take the whole userbase of some forum and spam them with your competition.

I got the message and thought I was special.  Downloaded but haven't tried the software yet (looked at the shitty examples though) but forgive me for thinking it actually looks/sounds kind of cool. Might be an ass way of spreading the news but whatever. |
