Have you guys seen this 24 hour Jack U stream on Twitch thing? http://www.twitch.tv/beatportIt's so fucking awkward. It's like Skrillex and Diplo (I'll admit I have no clue who Diplo is) in some apartment playing music for 24 hours. The problem is that it's a party for 24 hours. All the people look so fucking bored, it's the cringiest thing ever. Also the twitch chat is of course endless memes and calling all the party girls sluts and making fun of random people in the party. EDIT: Woah, the police just came in after 17 h 47 min of partying. Skrillex thanked them for being polite during their kick out. |

When Sega does an educational typing game about killing zombies, it's all fine and dandy, but an educational game about a girl trying to understand how sex works is just going too far for gaming™.
(edit: to be clear, typing of the dead is a good game, i just don't see the problem with how do you do it)

i mean even if you never mashed doll ghost-genitals together in a rough approximation of sex (i sure did) then you surely tried do do something you weren't supposed to when your parents walked away for a bit. it's a super cute and relatable game vignette thing.
i've gotta say that the steam reviews really piss me off. it's all just a bunch of "hurr durr us gamers sure don't know how sex works. i masturbate all day" abortive jokes. of course you don't know, you're writing friggin' steam joke reviews. i think the "funny" button might have actually made things worse? the shitpost joke reviews are now just getting marked as helpful and funny. if there was a way to filter out "funny" reviews it would be better but god dang it's annoying to sift through that shit when i just want to see what popular reactions to games are.

im not sure the funny button changed things much, it just doesnt work at all. steam review pages have always been littered with unfunny "joke" reviews. this game is just a particularly egregious example. "gamer culture" sure is embarrassing sometimes.
