Hitting it hard with our wasteland decorating. Each level set is decorated in a different way.

This inspiration behind this one was a apocalypse bunker *cough* fallout 4 *cough*

Aww thanks n_n

We've been very busy  cracking away at the game after our amazing time at PAX, while we were away..

Our QA lead wrote up a little blog post about his experience: Here

A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to step up as QA Lead for Super Adventure Pals.
Part of this entailed building a QA infrastructure from the ground up, and creating a schedule to plot out testing for six weeks until the projected launch..."

Instant backing for me. This looks absolutely awesome AND I couldn't be more pleased of what you're trying to achieve: nourish our innerchild.

BUT

There's only one thing that bothers me a lot (in a very exaggerated and irrational way). Why did you choose those damn COINS as collectibles for your game? I mean, we've got a little pet rock and a girafe in the backpack and a weird giant fir with hearted underwear... so why stick to those awful boring coins?

It could have been old beer caps, bugs, exotic fruits, flower petals, precious stones, leafs, butterfly's wings, gears, shells, poo, feathers, etc... When I was a child, I remember having used a lot of those as different currencies during our little roleplay games.

It's not THAT important, but as you clearly explicited your intention, I just wish everything in the game fulfills it.

Anyway, your game looks great and I really can't wait to play it :] Good luck for your kickstarter!

Thanks so much for backing! We appreciate the feedback on coins too.

To give you some context we decided to go with coins as we like the nostalgia of coins in older  games.  It is a bit generic but that's also good to not make them distracting for the player. Each level also contains a secret cupcake as well, which goes in the theme of the game more. But if we had them for each collectable they'd be too distracting.

played this a bit at GameFest - has a really lovely feel to it and in game looks great! love the light shafts in certain zones. best of luck with the kickstarter!
