TIG's very own Hack Slash Loot.  Album is free99.

Nice! I'm a sucker for anything that is polyphonic. I suppose the instruments are computerized/synth? Either way it sounds awesome Smiley

Just finished recording the main theme for Connectorium. It's a simple piano track:

http://soundcloud.com/gamesforsoul/connectorium-theme

This is simply beautiful. Every note is in the right place and it is touching. Nice job on throwing the blues elements in there as well, I love that kind of stuff

For the first time in my life I made something that resembles dubstep (but not quite) :

Theyre sample-based software instruments.

Yoshimitsu: Thanks for the kind words. I'm working on a couple of variations on that theme for the game, so they'll be going up soon hopefully.

I also checked out some of your music! Really enjoyed it... excellent guitar work.
Also please finish that "ck loop - work in progress"...you can't just leave people hanging like that! Smiley

Here's a track I wrote for an imaginary shmup:

http://soundcloud.com/drakken/space-shooter-2012

I was going for a classic synth shmup sound. The first loop is my original song; the second is seeing how it sounds with fake electric guitars.

Just finished recording the main theme for Connectorium. It's a simple piano track:

This one's really nice. Followed on SC.

Digging it! You've got a really funky groove going on there.

Hey, thanks!

Your track is great, I love the melodies and harmonies, although in my opinion you could add a little more bass. Favorited & followed on SC!

Finished a work-in-progress song just yesterday. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Now that I listen, I could make some changes, but it'd probably be best to just leave it alone.

The track is called electronic all around - it can be found on SoundCloud,

, and BandCamp. It was made with the free cross-platform tracker, SunVox, as well.

Something new:
http://soundcloud.com/hdsanctum/unsettling

Log:
Things I learnt:
-Managing sound levels to avoid compressor stealing thunder
-Use of layers to combine synths.

Things I need to learn:
-Extend past loops and have actual structure
-expand past simple melodies

How about learning not to use compression at all... I haven't used compression in years.  Totally pointless if you mix things right.

Does this count as a feedback thread?

I was looking for some criticism on mixing in this song I just put out.

I'm not really a musician, and this wouldn't really fit into a game the way that it's structured.

Nevertheless, I'd love to hear feedback from you guys.  Gentleman

This isn't really for a game, but the topic's title says nothing specific about what kind of music to post here... so I'm posting it.  Haven't really shared much lately so here ya go. :p

dude Zack you should arrange that as a funky 80s sitcom opening theme. That's a nice composition dude, very lively. :D

here's some stuff I made recently, though they're not for games... just inspired by a lovely lady Tongue

a little ambient jam

Tidus goes to a boba shoppe in Spira(work in progress)

An ambient sort of track for a "pretend" game of mine: Smiley
