Hahaha great! Now if only we can make the in-game models have these facial expressions... :p
Add tiny, speech bubble-like boxes next to the characters with hand drawn facial expressions when they have a freak out moment? Seriously, that would be awesome :D Limit it to always be on-screen, have the bubble always point towards the character, and you got a nice stuff-is-happening-in-that-direction alert for the players

Thanks for the awesome suggestion! We have something similar to the speech bubble designed for certain things... you can catch a glimpse of it in the video montage from a few months back. Definitely trying to tie the comics and the game closer together.

The third giant to appear in My Giants is of a different style... a ghostly, almost spiritual form of life. He might look a bit intimidating at first, but wait until you find out what he does in the game! Patrick recorded the modeling of this character. This is part 1 (about 20 minutes long). Great How-to video if you are into character modeling. We're Super Happy! A nice local printing shop ( http://www.perfectcopyandprint.com/) helped us get these nice posters printed quickly today. Awesome service – answered all our beginner questions about printing, sizing…etc. Nothing beats a nice local experience! Without further ado, here are the posters you’ll see at our PAX Booth! Don’t forget we are at booth #6407! :D

You could always add the comics to the in-game loading screens.. Assuming there is a loading time of course, haha

Okay, I was a bit confused by the video, then I looked at the start post and realized this is basically a multiplayer skirmish game a la DotA?
Have you thought about trying to rig up a single-player campaign with lots of things to destroy? And demoing that?
Because right now the trailer lacks much in the way of narrative, so looking at it, I just see some figures running around repeatedly. The comic is way more fun, but at the same time, distracts from the video, and since theoretically you should be able to sell the game on its gameplay...

I had concerns about the gameplay as well, my thoughts were pretty much the same as what lynx pointed out. It has charm, but I have no idea what kind of gameplay that is..
Since narrative seems to be a strong focus with the comics, shouldn't you focus on narrative in the gameplay too?

Thanks guys for the feedback! Yeah currently we are just focusing on the multiplayer game (match game) right now. Lots of people have asked about a single-player mode and we are definitely up for it, it's just the lack of resource that's limiting us with a small 3-person team. We actually did a single-player mini game prototype earlier last year, a running game with the rock giant's help ( http://www.pepwuper.com/category/run-megan-run/, video: ), but decided to focus on the multiplayer game first. Probably shouldn't have called the video a trailer as you've pointed out you can't really see the gameplay. The video was used on a TV at PAX to attract attention - thus the focus on visual and the running comics did help us get attention from the kids Working hard to bring a playable alpha soon so you guys can give it a go! (and getting a proper trailer out soon in the mean time... )
