No, Tim just told me about it. I haven't seen it myself.

Strange, I'm sitting behind a router, got the Windows XP firewall enabled and AntiVir Person Edition as well as Spybot are always actively running in the background, yet I didn't get any warning when entering the forums.

I do get the message. At first, I thought it was something I caught on my computer but it seems I am not alone. I contacted Jeff about this, we'll see what he can do.

I think it's TAMER's fault.

Or Smithy.

One or two days ago, I opened the forums and my anti-virus started nagging me. A few hours later, BSOD's and trojans ensued. I don't know if it was the forums' fault though.

Wait, the only thing every forum you visited last night had in common was... YOU. You're the one spreading the virus around. UNCLEAN! UNCLEAN!

This is what the forums gets for wearing a top hat in place of a condom. WTF

Is it possible that the post preview feature was also affected by this? Before the downtime, that had mysteriously stopped working for me; now it's fine again.

I noticed that, too.  It was some script injected into the php of the site, so I'm sure it fucked with a bunch of stuff.

There's still hidden iframes at the bottom of all the forum pages Lips Sealed.  Someone should perhaps remove those..

Just got it right now on the forums unread page. Here's the norton popup:

Intrusion: HTTP Embed Tag NPDSPlay DLL BO
Intruder: localhost(1622)
Attacked IP: share.com1.su(78.109.28.16)

There was a second one with more specifics but I haven't seen that one again

Okay, hm... Jeff mentioned that the iframe code was gone after he upgraded.  I just went back and removed it again.

I'll message him about it.  In the meantime, let me know if you keep getting virus warnings.  Norton's not really picking up anything over here.

Sorry about this! Lips Sealed
