New overworld map for Hidden Asset. I realized that having everything take place in a single city just didn't make sense. As you get new missions, more locations to travel to will appear on the map.

I already posted this in the devlog, but I think it's cool. These pillars and rainbow logs just happened to line up perfectly to enable this combo.

I almost think this game would be even cooler if it looked like all of the current graphics were being displayed over some sort of holo projection table in a darkened sci-fi bridge room. You could even have people walking by hurriedly or leaning on the table, watching with anticipation and just never show their faces, only the parts of their bodies that are close to the table are lit a little.

Congratulations James, you described perfectly the idea I had for my next project! :D I can almost see the trailer.. "you have played The Odyssey, now..." with scenes from the battle map, then the camera looks up and you can see a busy bridge room on a space cruiser.. It could be a cross between an RPG/Shooter/Tactical game where you start as a bridge officer and work your way towards commanding your first battleship. All while saving the Galaxy of course.

But what you say might be a real possibility for this game as well. It all depends on the artists I'll be able to find. I'll focus more in that direction once I at least have something barely playable with platonic solid. Thanks for the excellent advice though, I hope to have more stuff to show soon!

Not much to show up since I spent most of the week doing AI and interconnecting all sub systems in ship, but I had some time today to work on the sickbay , crew members will need treatment to get healed faster or for limbs/organs replacements, even for 3d bio printing. This is still a work in progress sickbay module.

In Hidden Asset, mission locations are tranformed into crime scenes when you've completed the assassination job, so you can always return to stealthily retrieve any gear you had to leave behind.
