I read it but don't really get what it's supposed to be, I wasn't able to "get"it's sarcasm-level. I want to think it's just written to mess with weak-minded people but I've read lots of pseudo-philosophical and semi-religious texts and they usually have this tone even when serious. I'm confused

It's not supposed to be sarcastic.  It's serious.

Osho is also known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.  He's not exactly the most trustworthy cat.  While the general gist of this essay is fairly analogous to Buddhist thinking, you can easily pick out phrases that are meant to breed discontent in the minds of morally ambivalent people and tip them towards anti-socialism.

Political agendas aside, I think the observation of the "Ego" is a very relevant phenomena in modern life -- personally it makes a lot of sense to me (not Buddhist), and explains a lot of "conflicting personalities" I've observed in human decision making

firstly: hooray for psychobabble! XD

i found myself agreeing with many of his points toward the beginning, but toward the middle i got the feeling that the author did not understand what he was talking about. or at least did not understand it in the same way i did.

also, this is quite an example of overanalysis. while i do agree that people are influenced by the societies in which they live and the lives which they lead (or follow, depending on how much you believe this osho character), i do not believe that this is completely separate from one's inner center, as it were. many of the arguments in this piece of writing are rather self-contradictory or their logic kills any plausibility they may have had. i first noticed this when he started talking about how by being humble you are feeding your ego. i would say that while i can see how someone would come to this conclusion, it is utterly ridiculous. meh.

also, this argument seemed to ignore some of the major counter-arguments for these fake, society-driven egos. would society function at all if every person was a so-called 'master'? not at all by this person's definition. can people without egos aspire to greatness or have dreams? or is this a function of society?

"know thyself" -one of those ancient greek philosophers. this is a good point.
