so i decided to pick up the trial of game maker, and after a series of procrastination bursts I have made a prototype of a game I want to make genuinely decent.


hopefully when im done it will include:

three characters with different speeds
three enemy types with different specific behavour (still,regular lane switch,player following)
co op (each player will have a button to switch position without consent of other player)
three stages

I have at least decided what i want to theme my levels around

stage 1 will be a city/construction yard
stage 2 you will have a space ship and the game will be an asteroid/cargo dodge em up
stage 3 you get stuck in space traffic and jump out to run on top of the stuck space commuters

not much in the way of art so far

the only real art asset i could really call complete is the run animation(even so the shading is a lil weird), I forgotted to implement some small things like hit feedback and enemy shot sound effect

DOWNLOAD

the holes dont register unless you land on them, ill figure that out so it looks like nothing is there at all ever
