I finally finished my game from the Bivouac Urbain jam http://www.bivouacurbain.com/

Basketball for 1-2 players.







DOWNLOAD (version 1.02)

controls:
(player 1)
Arrow keys left and right to move
Up to use your jetpack
M to hold the ball
(player 2)
A and D to move
W to use your jetpack
F to hold the ball
press alt for more balls

joysticks should work too..

really interesting game. wish I had someone to play with, would probably make it more interesting. the AI is decent but this is a definitely competitive game, would be much more enjoyable with someone to scream at beside me.

I just won 11:0 against the computer and I didn't even let the ball of my "hands", all of the scores were slam dunks.

I added stealing (press m while touching the ball) and made the ai a bit tougher. (link in first post)

I really like this game.  Very chaotic and fun.  I got to play it with a friend a week back, and that added to the experience.  I really like the visual style as well.

Stealing the ball is a nice touch but now I see you changed the way the ball spawns so now if you do a slam dunk and just go through the goal, the ball stays in your "hands". Knowing how to do a slam dunk and then win only by it feels like cheating and now with the ball always in your hands it's more and more like cheating. :D
