Couldn't find a thread, so:

Post your Global Game Jam 2010 games here!

This is the one I made with jwaap:

http://www.globalgamejam.org/2010/spies-vs-monkey-dictator

Spies VS Monkey Dictator.

A four player game with four spies who try to set up traps for eachother and obtain a briefcase. Two player version if you don't have any controllers plugged in, play with more players by plugging in one or two controllers.

Windows only.

We finished most of it on friday night/saturday morning, which was awesome Smiley Didn't win anything, though we almost got the public award.

Decepti Cube

A physics based skill game, where you try to keep a marble on top of a rotating platform. It's HARD. We've only seen somebody last over 60 seconds once.

Fake

Me and Saint created this along with two other guys at the Nordic Game Jam.

It's a game about art forgery. Choose between different sets of images and cut out parts of them to create forgeries of Mona Lisa etc. Your art-dealing pimp Don Key will give you advice and coach you. You also get a rating once you're finished and you can save the forgery to your harddrive.

Our team made this

Kingdom Hurts
http://www.globalgamejam.org/2010/kingdom-hurts

An anti-game that works against the player at every step attempting to decieve you into death and failure. The level design, collectibles, upgrade system and the plot are all in their own a trick at the player's expense.

I was one of two programmers and we made
Nibbles

http://globalgamejam.org/2010/white-lies-0

http://www.kongregate.com/games/SokerCap/nibbles/

2D platformer with 3D art. Run through the yards to try to get home. Avoid the punk with the water gun by hiding in special spots.

A Rainy Night

We ran out of time to adequately finish it, but I think it demonstrates some pretty good ideas.

Wizards & Viruses

You are a virus in a wizard's computer. While avoiding antivirus softwares you must infect some files to finish the level. There are 7 levels, First 3 are more of a learning, warming levels, 4-5-6 are where the game starts and 7th level is the real thing Smiley. We didn't have enough time to fix the game mechanics so, ai most probably couldn't kill you but finishing the last level is still hard.

Cakewalk 7000

This game I worked on had the honour of being both the favourite game of our jam site, and the first entry played by keynote speaker Ste Curran. His words: "it was awesome". Grin

I Deceive You

Our constraints: fire, wire and lyre.

I recommend trying this before reading anything about it.
There's one bug that slipped into the submitted version, so if you fall through the floor, it's a bug. Although some people, who didn't know about the bug, did think that it was part of the game. Smiley And it kinda does fit into it.

(We had to fix the gamepad recognition, as the default setting was a bit too restrictive :D ...)

If you play without gamepad you have to see the keyboard-settings on the homepage as the ingame-instructions only covers gamepad-action...
