Hi all,

My name is Katy and I'm eager to contribute to video game land!
I have experience in 3D and some 2D animation. My new showreel can be viewed on my website:
http://katy.idlecreations.com/

I'm available for freelance/contract/full time work (although any jobs that I need to travel to will really have to be in the London area).

Cheers,

Katy

You're losing like 75% of the visitors to your website by using Apple quicktime.

The site leaves something to be desired, but the animations are top notch.

If I had some money to spend and a project for you, I would be more than happy to have you on board. I'll refer you to some of my friends/colleagues though.

It's good to have alternatives but in my experience most animators prefer the quicktime format because you can easily frame by frame it, which is often not possible with other forms of compression.

Though since your audience is the non-animator crowd maybe that number is accurate. Could add a Divx and YouTube version...

Nice reel. Best of luck with the job hunt! Smiley

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback everybody. Thought I'd let you know that I've just added a link to a youtube version, for anyone who is not a Quicktime fan.
Ninja Dodo is right, I use Quicktime because you can scrub through the anim at your own speed..

Regards,

Katy
