Well after that then I have to worry about conflicting with Fantastic Fest, which adamatomic and I (and others) are going to. So.. does this mean October?

It should be over Halloween so we can dress up like our favorite indie game characters and make-out. Hand Thumbs Up Left

Deadly serious.

As long as everyone comes looking like this we're in good shape

I think as long as dates stay away from the second week in October (potential mid-terms for grad school), I'll be down there. Also its in San Francisco so Phubans and I can finally meet in the flesh and become one.

i will be in SF from the 9th - 12th but for something else entirely - so anytime AROUND then would be awesome and ideal.  is there any reason it has to be on a weekend?  Are there are a lot of tigjammers that have Actual Jobs?  (genuinely curious, not bein a dick)

How important is it to avoid being near the IGF deadline? That's November 1st, and if we did Halloween weekend (which would be pretty sweet), it might detract some people from going. Although one could argue it might be a boost for them to come out and finish their submission at TIGJam...

Thoughts?

I think the eve of the igf deadline would be insanity, personally.

As late as possible would be best for me Embarrassed because I have to sort out tax stuff in order to get my visa.

Although, a Hallows Eve TIGJam would be amazing.

I'd totally want to make the trek out there if it was a Halloween jam. That would be wicked fun. Ottawa / Montreal convoy to SF!? I think so!!

I had wanted to go last year, but wasn't able to.  Hope to go this year.

I was planning a trip to the Bay Area in late August; if the jam happens in September I could extend my trip a bit. October would be harder for me to attend, though still conceivable.

if it's in San Francisco like some are suggesting, then I would certainly go.  I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of you folks.
