Lots of indie developers are converging in London for World of Love, so we're gonna host a game jam on the same weekend! It runs all weekend after the conference, on the 26th and 27th of June.

More information and tickets are available here: http://lovejam.eventbrite.com/

Original Post:
--------------

This summer, Pixel Lab (the same group who organise the Indie Games Arcade at the Eurogamer Expo) are holding a UK indie get together in London, called World of Love. It's on Friday the 25th of June, and will probably involve some talks + pub and meetups afterwards. Great! Beer!

But I was thinking that it's a shame to have so many developers converge to one place and not make any games while we're there... So how about we turn the rest of the weekend into a game jam? Let's call it TIGJam UK 4! (or not)

Shouldn't be much involved. We basically just need to find a venue, right? Any thoughts? Let's do this! Grin

Yes definitely.  I'll be heading back on Sunday, but definitely.  Someone can sort out a cafe or lobby or something in London that might be hospitable?

Yeah, I'm nominally up for this, despite being rubbish at jamming Smiley

I'll be going to WoL but travelling back home Saturday afternoon, would be interested dropping into the jam in the morning though.

Aww, come on, now I gotta decide between UK3 and UK4. I've played with the thought going of going to World of Love ever since I've heard of it though, so maybe I'll favor this one.

Things are starting to come together for this, thanks to @KommanderKlobb, we have a venue! I'll hold off posting about it or getting tickets until TIGJam 3 gets going, though. Have to talk to both Bento Smile and David Hayward about this yet.

If i'm still in London on the Saturday I'll be there! I'm not exactly sure how i'm fixed yet though. My little brother lives in London somewhere, so i'm hoping to crash at his on friday night, just need to get a hold of his phone number from someone...

Cheers

I couldn't get a WoL ticket in time Crazy

If anybody knows somebody who knows somebody who has a ticket but can't show up and is willing to sell it I'd appreciate if that somebody could put me in contact with that person.

Pretty much RIGHT on the day I got the money together these things sell out. Just my luck.
