an infinite in MvC3 is less scary than a 80% combo in most other games because you have 3 characters so the infinite must hit at least 3 times

it's still sorta lame though

mvc2 had 3 characters too and inf combos were usually an indication towards failure unless you can turn the tables severely but half the cast in mvc3 seems to have some pretty cheap tricks to counter each other so i guess it works dohoho

there's always ways to prevent that sort of thing though. i.e. don't get hit. it's really easy

washed up motherfucker clockwork holdin it down forever. high level strider/doom play is the most exciting to watch.

So the game is pretty damn fun if you don't compare it to MvC2.  Also there don't seem to be a lot of super cheap characters, but time will tell.

There is some cheap shit, but it doesn't seem like there are God tier characters yet other than maybe Sentinel. The game does feel easy but so does every vs game before people start coming up with crazy stuff that continuously gets one-upped then everyone has to learn (e.g. ROM infinite, unfly combos, etc.)

After playing fighters for 15+ years now, I'm pretty much used to every game having characters with cheap shit. "V-Ism Crouch Cancels," really?! KoF '99-'00 Kensou/striker hackysack? Untouchable MvC 1 Strider, Colossus assists, and Soul Eraser with 50%+ damage as a L1 super?

Really, there's no such thing as an unbroken fighter. Closest you'll probably ever find is Soul Blade.

I'm already reading complains about it being too casual, too broken and too Tatskunoko-ish. Fans are truly never pleased (says the guy who cries over Mega Man and Roll not being in the game).

While obviously the game isn't perfect, fans of game X have always complained about sequel Y not being like game X, especially with fighters. If developers always listened to the previous game's fans the game would never evolve. See Starcraft 2; as much as I love that game and play it regularly, it wasn't as innovative as the jump between Warcraft 2 and 3 because they wanted to keep the progamers (read: Koreans) on board.  Marvel 3 will be like SF4 which had notables like Sirlin complaining it was too easy but it became an accepted and wildly popular tournament game anyway because everyone wants to play it.
