This is the kind of background that would look really cool if there were animations going on in the background. I mean like, those white squares could be flowing up and down and stuff like that

That mockup kind of blurs things a bit.
Like the level in Agency, it should be a series of staggered floating platforms, and those tall columns of light lift characters towards the top of the screen so they can get to the top of the tower/catch their fall.

Does anybody else think this level kind of clashes with the rest of the game's art style? Especially the black outlines everywhere look quite off, and they weren't there in the original Mondo either. Would it be possible to have the platforms without outlines and just define their shape by the different shades of grey?

Also, is the tower meant to be a platform or just in the background?
