Hey Arsehammer,
Just thought I'd reiterate that I'm really looking forward to the podcast. Hurry up already!
I have just this second finished editing it. I don't think I can overstate what a pain in the arse it has been to do this month, mostly due to a big sound effecty bit in the middle, but also because my editing software has been an utter shit and has been exporting the sound with random gaps in it. I'd name and shame it, but as it's stolen, that would be a bit silly.  It'll be online by midnight GMT. Unless my laptop explodes. |

Ta' muchly. I wasn't entirely happy with how the blacksmith thing worked out but compared to an earlier version (where the screams weren't humorous and the whole thing was just disturbing) it didn't come out too bad. I just wish I could win the lotto so I could knock out stuff like that with a greater amount of time and competancy.

Gonna' start writing it this week (which usually means it'll be out in 2 weeks - yuss, I am lazy) and as for interviews, I was thinking about Cryptic Sea, but tbh, I can't think of many interesting questions for them and I don't want to waste their time. The main problem with interviews is technical, though - I need to be able to get high quality recordings of skype and that's surprisingly hard to do unless both parties collude to simply record the output of their PCs to something.

Maybe try TeamSpeak or something instead of Skype. I always used that for interviews and got high quality recordings regularly.

1) It might affect the impartiality.
2) I can't make money from it due to how I source my sfx and music.
3) I can afford to support it as it's only £50 a year for the server (which I'll use for my games when I do them, too).
And I'll look into TeamSpeak, ta'. The main problem is recording the chat at the same time as running the chat program. Ideally I'd have one which recorded in stereo so that I could edit me and the speaker separately.
