So I tried it out and started making a generic goblinface to learn the tools and interface. At first I made the eyes just big holes but later tried to bulge them out to make them into proper eyeballs. In the process I managed to fuck up the geometry so that the trianglecount is through the roof and the geometry of the mesh is all twisted and fucked. Is there any way to fix this? Some kind of 'select area, flatten the whole thing out to a smooth surface' function or anything? Reduce brush, smooth and flat don't work at all and often I get a "Splitlist overflow!" error. and a view from inside:

It so nice that there's finally a decent freeware option for sculpting. Blenders sculpt mode wasn't really cutting it imo.

Is there anywhere a good list of features for this program? Looks interesting but I'd like to look a bit what it can do before downloading and deciding to jump in.

I never really got this. Is this a really intuitive 3D modeler, or just something to dick around with a bit?

You don't have to install anything. It comes as a zip. I never really got this. Is this a really intuitive 3D modeler, or just something to dick around with a bit?
I also guess you guys didn't read the about page of the website. It's a sculpting program, it's not meant to be a full-featured 3d modeler.

It's definitely a lot more user friendly than zbrush or something, although I don't think it would be particularly useful for a game, unless it's pre-rendered.

This program is definetely supereasy to use and incredibly fun. In fact I wish it had oc style multiplayer support just to sculpt goblinfaces with other people. Sadly unless your game is dealing with high end 3d stuff then this is pretty useless for the generic indie. But addicting as hell.

Sure it would. You make a low poly for the sculpted high poly and generate a normal map. That's how 3d game art works these days. Most 3D engines these days support normal maps too.

True. But you'd need something else for animation. Also, looks awesome Kinnas!

Yeah, and for making the low poly as well. But Blender is very powerful for an open source program (for modelling and animation etc), and they have even improved the tricky UI lately.

Isn't there an option to "downgrade" the high poly mesh to low poly?

Finaly, a 3D modeling program that I don't need to use (too much) my brain.

Whoah, haven't heard about any UI updates. I'll have to check that out ASAP.

Nice program though I can't get painting work Whenever I click painting icon, it doesn't stay "pressed" and there doesn't appear circle marking a brush. Same with some of the other tools. Am I missing something?
