that is such an gorgeous xmas present for us all. thank you agnes! ps: is there any chance one could hire you in the future for so small commercial things? its great that you give this art by CC, but NC-SA is sadly limiting most posibilities (atleast from my perspective).

i especially enjoy your aliens in the scifi set and am looking for someone interested to do some characters in this kind of style and quality for a commerical project. something probably for 2014 ... so i gues you can sort out your studies until then?  Wink

Haven't had much time to work on hobby projects lately, but I rounded up some tiles and sprites to add something. Smiley

I've been working on some tile sets for the 7-day roguelike challenge, but I haven't had time to add as much as I wanted to. I decided to add what I have so far, and I hope they'll still be useful for someone in their current state. Smiley

I must say I love those 8x8 tiles.

Did you intend to post them as CC-BY-SA rather than the CC-BY-NC-SA of the rest?

EDIT:
If it is meant to be CC-BY-SA then you should post them up on Open Game Art, though that'll probably mean more people begging you to release the others under an Open Source compatible license too. Tongue

Yeah, it's intentional. I do get requests every now and then to change the licenses, so I wanted to experiment with simpler sets using a more open license. Maybe I'll post it elsewhere when I finish adding stuff to it. Smiley

I updated it a little with some bosses and a few more tiles and creatures. I also added a few more water tiles to the larger dungeon set.

Oh cool! Next time I do 7drl, I'm going to be really tempted to use one of these. Very impressive stuff. The 24x24 bit set is just gorgeous.

Thanks, jeremiah and HopFrog! Grin

I added a 1-bit version of the tiny roguelike set so it can be used on the Commodore 64 or ZX Spectrum.

I also gathered up some tiles I don't think I'll use for anything specific.

Nice stuff, I made a simple shmup with some of your sprites. It's playable here (flash).

Ohh, I forgot to bump this thread last time I added to it, but here's something new at last. Grin

This is the first stage of a video series I'm working on.

Yayy, glad this is still up. Really cool to see those assets in action. Tears of Joy

Here's a slightly overambitious project I worked on a while back, but since I haven't had time to work on it in years, I'm adding all the assets to this thread so that they'll still be of some use. All the icons are based on real plants and minerals, so if anyone's interested, I can make a list of which minerals/herbs the icons represent.

Archne, I am also currently working on a gem/mineral item set. Is there any chance I can take you up on that list?

It looks to me like I see turquoise, coral, and obsidian in there at least.

that's *so much* high quality. And you offer it to us. I'm deeply moved, seriously. That makes you even more a hero in my eyes that you already were. I wish I had gameplay ideas enough to bring live to all those sexy pixels...
Thanks for who you are and what you draw. From the bottom of my coder's heart.
