Hope you guys dig this stuff.

I love how dynamic these pieces are. There's so much momentum in all of them, they're very exciting! But I particularly love the Hulk one, as you get so much out of such a limited palette. I love the way it looks like a cave painting, which gives it a kind of brutish quality which I suppose is very fitting. And I also like the way that, despite his body being very much a mass of muscles, you still get a very strong pose and sense of movement out of what is essentially a silhouette.

So awesome :D

So...  Do you read Invincible?  Your coloring on the Flash picture really reminds me of the style used in that book.

Wow thanks for that review:)  Every so often I work in silhouette so that I can really concentrate on mass and form.  Sometimes they work out and sometimes they don't but out of all of the ones I've done the hulk is my favorite. I'm glad you like it too! Grin

I'll post another Hulk silhouette and an Iron Man when I get a chance.   Beer!

Here are some game concepts for you guys.

The first one is a Minataur concept for the Nintendo DS game Fighting Fantasy.

The Second one is the main character concept for an Army Men licensed game for the Wii.

The last one was a background image used in a casual PC game called Geeks Unleashed.

Hey Nice work! I like those silhouettes and your sketches the best. Are the silhouettes a side project or something?
