Now NO ONE can doubt what wonders can be created in SU!  Kiss Kiss Kiss

I noticed a greyed out "shop" link at the polytron site; make this a shirt and it will sell.

I would totally get a shirt of that, if you can get them in tiny sizes for tall, skinny people.

(In a magical world run by unicorns) you could use the proceedings from the shirt to make that console a reality!  Kiss Kiss Kiss

Undecided I thought it was a beautiful design, but it's hardly pushing the technical limits of sketchup. Sketchup is pretty full-featured, these days.

Check out the gallery for less elegant, but much more technically taxing examples.

Oh, I'm totally aware that that isn't taxing on SU (it's very rectilinear, so it's the polar opposite of taxing).  It's just a nice design.  And I like seeing more graphics people using SU, as there's a lot of non-legit criticism of it in my faculty, because the arch students don't know how to make SU models look good.  I mean, I thought that first post of the design (yellow background) was just a vector graphic, not a model, so that's definitely saying something.

Is this for the Polytron splash screen?

I'd love to see this machine blink on, then have the camera pan up close to fill my screen with Polytron Logo Love.

Shocked

That's nothing short of genius Farbs!

Flythroughs are easy enough in SkechUp, and animations can be done with the SketchyPhysics plugin, so you really should give that a try fish.

And I want this to happen on the t-shirt.

Give it a couple years and this is so possible with OLEDs.  Addicted

This. Or just skinny people of average height.

Skinny bastards!  I'll be you all can eat whatever you want and not gain any weight; fuckers.

Oh, and that bitterness doesn't mean I'm fat, I just have to watch what I eat to stay within a normal weight, as opposed to just eating anything and everything that I'd want, and sitting around not exercising.
