Recently in my art class i have decided to do a project as a rug hooking (everyone has fun with this term, EVERYONE) and can safely say i have been having fun with it, but it got me thinking about other mediums like sewing or knitting, the former of which i have some experience with.

so im wondering, what other traditional media do you use that is less common than painting that yous peoples uses.

I'm pretty decent at wood working. I can at least build a shelf or a drawer or a chair. B)

Other than that I'm pretty much all pencil drawing.

Felting is the right term for that :3 (or, needle felting more specifically, because felting can refer to knitting something and then making felt from it by putting it in a washing machine.)

I can crochet. :3 Crochet is actually pretty sculptural... moreso than knitting, as it's easier to work in the round, and therefore easier to simply wing it and create the shape as you go. Smiley
