I just want to tell you that you are doing great job with this game. I like graphics and character design. Maybe add some effects, when someone is getting hit or something so it'll be more dynamic.

Yeah I really want some ridiculous King of Fighters shit goin on. I put a bunch of effects in that last guy's super, but I drew them white so you can't see em :/ durrrrrr
I'm gonna give this guy some kind of electric move n see how it works out.

I think you should have his arms crossed for his idle animation, and make him seem kind of 'uninterested' in the fight, looking down on the other player. (Like in the first picture)

There's a couple character things that don't make it into the fight cos they just don't fit.
Like for the guitar guy, I wanted him to drink straight vodka through his eye socket at some point, and sniff up through his nose a lot, but it doesn't fit into the game at all. So I'm gonna try n squeeze it into his Special animation, and I'm gonna give each character a tiny intro animation like this.

Same here: I want the guy to fold his arms n look like a dick, but it'd be really silly for all his moves to start from, and return to, that stance. So I'm making that his blocking image, and I might squeeze it into his intro animation.

Maybe he could be a stance-based character, like um, Siegfried from Soul Calibur, for example.  I.e. he usually stands in a reasonable pose, but some of his moves put him into the crossed-arms stance, and then he can do different moves out of it. Shrug

Anyways, looks great.  I heart fighting games, especially ones with actually interesting characters -- I'm looking at you, Mortal Kombat Hand Shake Left Angry

YO YO YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stayed up all night yesterday finishin this 3rd guy. He still hasn't got a running kick. I'm so annoyed I can't do one a week.




He's got a bunch of weird shit, like his back-kick is a stun-gun that paralyzes you fr a sec, and his back-punch is a throw.
Also he has a running throw, which I don't think I've ever seen before. Again, I'm not totally sold on his Super...

I have to start the 4th guy but I've got NO CLUE what it is. I don't even know where to start. I think it should be a girl? duhrrrrrrr.
PLEASE if you've got any ideas, throw em at me.

4th person should either be a little magical girl or a skeleton with a sword. Or just a skeleton...

Okay, this is excruciatingly badass right now.

Great sense of motion, very kinetic for a project so early in. I also like how you haven't gone to the deep end to scrounge up character ideas.

I'm thinking fat nurse for number four? Maybe characterized by a lot of lateral motion in her attacks, covering and retreating a lot of ground.

He is based on that guy, an American sports channel dude I saw once, a sales guy I used to hate, and some bodyguard training video I saw. And Abel from SF4 a little bit.
His sunglasses are Squirtle Squad sunglasses.

Also yeah, everyone's kicks in this game suck. I'm fine with punches and run animations n shit, but I CAN'T come up with cool looking kicks. A guy like this wouldn't kick- I don't know what to do.
Hopefully at some point I'll work it out. I can't even come up with a running kick fr im yet :/

 I wouldn't think that 'kick' would always have to be kicks. I'd consider it more of a secondary attack. Maybe headbutts?

The second guy's back-kick is a crazy launching move, and his running kick is a power-slide.
This guy's back-kick is a stun move. I've bin avoiding kicks the whole time.
