Hello TIGSource! Now that I have your attention, I'd like to use the opportunity to offer my services as a 2D graphic artist. A few samples of my work: *made by myself and eddietree (both pictured above). Graphics, world and characters by me (except the male protagonist) As you see, I do pixel art as well as painterly stuff. Most of all, I like creating characters and worlds, and conceptualizing ideas. I like both comic and semi-realistic stuff - chunky hand-painted, horror, vectors... I'm not sure I'd feel much at home with CoD-style bro shooters, except when they're fruitier than any focus group should ever allow. In short, I do graphics and concept art. Contact me via PM if you need any I'm currently busy with one small project, but I'd very much like something new, inspiring and motivating. Thank you and have a nice day!

Hello, I am the fella that worked with him on the underwater game. I would like to say that Miguelito comes highly recommended. He will make you art in a jiffy-wiff without any compromise of quality.

I'd like to echo what Eddietree has to say and highly recommend Miguelito. Just look at this run cycle. Super smooth. He's fantastic!

No, not really. I gotta give credit where credit is due: Wasabi was fully done by Mr. eddietree here. Then later, he started looking for an artist for his next game, and we started on Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. This time, I did the art, added characters and pretty much designed the game world following eddietree's gameplay descriptions. The fact that it's an Italian harbor town with a sleazy-looking Ferrari-driving merchant, a lovable elderly harbor worker and a Moroccan lifeguard is pretty much due to all the liberties I got in creating the world and setting. Oh, and I kept eddietree's protagonist because he's just the best!

I'm allowing myself a slight, modest, almost-a-year bump. In the meantime, I've finished a few tiny projects - all the medium-to-larger ones unfortunately came to an untimely halt because of reasons on my or the respective coder's side. I'm continuing at least one project on my own while crying buckets of bitter tears every day, but on the other hand I wouldn't mind participating in something additional. So if there's something 2D you'd like an artist for, PM me up! Strongly prefer projects with something already coded, though - I'm a bit burned out on "we could make this-and-that, you go ahead and make art lol" things... Adding some recent-ish artwork for your viewing pleasure!

Man, those are some tasty-looking sprites. Love the colors on the first image too. What kind of project would you be interested in, other than something that's already has some code built? (Also, you can always 'bump' your thread with new samples of work - add them to the first post too )

Thank you, Destral. What kind of project would you be interested in, other than something that's already has some code built? Well, it's a bit tough, really. I'm honestly looking for a small-to-mid size project that I could work on with a talented and mature individual - by that, I'm thinking of either a good programmer, or a good writer. I have met two great programmers total so far, but unfortunately both had to quit due to RL circumstantces / other projects. I was also in contact with an excellent writer, but had to quit myself (which is a first and the only time so far) because I didn't feel I was up for it. I'm up for anything really that gives me a bit of creative liberty (read: design the setting, world and whatnot) and has *any* chance of being finalized at some point. My favorite genres are point'n'click, roguelikes, shmups, TDs and visual novels, and I'm pretty confident I could contribute ideas and good mechanics to either. Though don't let that narrow choice of genres detract you from trying anyway. Because of rambling, artwork:

Oops! Just posting an update because of 120-day warning. I'm currently well-set with a few projects, but please don't hesitate to PM me in case you just want to get in contact or exchange cookie recipes! 5-way run animations: (vector, hand-tweened, slowed down) Enemies for a 64x64 grid: (vector, hand-tweened, added color effects in Photoshop) A tileset! (pixel art) And a little artwork just because. Also, there's a collaboration going on between me, eddietree and others: Watch this space!

Damn this is awesome. Be sure to let us know when you're free for more work, I would happily start a new project just to have your art all up inside it.
