I've been working on flocking, turns out flocking (or boids) is pretty simple, just adding up lots of Vector3's and then positioning the objects with the sum. (http://www.kfish.org/boids/pseudocode.html)
 
The tricky part is that I needed my boids to be confined and fixed to the surface of an object that is physically simulated.  I also need them to pathfind across gaps when the gap is narrow enough...

in the gif below, the boids are attracted to chunks that are nearby enough to cross, when the chunk on the right is pulled away the boids decide to move to the other chunk.  The white dots are nodes which are being used to determine gap distance. Right now I'm working on making the boids transition across gaps.

You gonna be making all kinda moneys with three games coming out. Hand Money Right

(...only one of which looks like it will cost money though... i'm assuming. Who, Me? but still. I'll be all over protecktor if and when you release it on iOS.)

Oh, and this looks cool too, though as usual, I have no frickin' idea what it is.

Protekor will be free on iOS, whenever I get the controls working good on it, but I need to get this game here further along first Tired

and MOABD who knows when that will be...that's the epic-indie-dreamz project.

I just started a contract job at an indie studio so that's been taking up a lot of my time again.
