This is not a team request as I often feel that having a team "leader" means making a persons game. Rather, who wants to make a game? Lets make one. We can exchange skypenames or maybe go on a chatroom or something and think of something. This isnt a 100% guarantee but it WILL be more productive than aimlessly wandering arround the forums looking for somebody to work with you.
But with one condition, we need skills that REALLY matter when it comes to making games. Now I know that Writing and concept art and everything is quite important but it would be a bummer to have a team full of concept artists, writers, level designers etc and just one programmer/composer/spriter.... On second thought. It would be ridiculous to try and find people later on so... yeah. Just post.
So at first, what do you know? What can you do? What would you like to do? Maybe you will learn most of what you truly can do along the way(Trust me, I did! And thank GOD the people I was working with understood this.)
Im a programmer. I know GML quite good and have experience making both shmups, rpg's and platformers. I can code the basic game engine and perhaps some particle effects engines if necesarry.
Now what about you?

It's hard for a programmer to recruit a team, haha. You might want to post some prior work, or start the game yourself to get people interested in what they see.
It took me 4-5 forums, and much thread tending to get my team together, but it's happening, lol.

I've personally given up on forming a team, ever, so good luck (I gave up back when I was finding people to work with in person). Some day I may post on here like this and try to get a team together just for kicks, maybe say 5 random dudes/gals for 10 day jam, who knows. Anyway definitely post prior work. Have a web site or a blog at least, and put it in your profile!
