So after seeing the competition thread (which was inspired by the Jared v Joe thread), I threw the first punch at Ashkin and said we should get in on this. Here's how it's gonna work... Rainy Devil Challenge Theme:Number of Mockups:Completion Date- Midnight of Sunday, March 18, 2012
Restrictions:- GameBoy Advance restrictions.
- Screen resolution set at 240 pixels (wide) by 160 pixels (tall). Can be scaled up.
- 16 palettes for backgrounds and 16 palettes for sprites. With each palette containing 16 colours.
- Nothing in the way of tiles/sprite limitations.

Cool. Although I thought we could just hold all the competitions in one thread that I made, but it would probably get very confusing.

@Ninto: I was going to post in your thread, but then I saw the first post had the rules, so I thought it was only for that specific competition.
@Ein: Yes, it's based off Bakemonogatari. I was wondering if anyone in the art section would pick up on that.
@thatshelby: Haha, Ashkin and I were discussing ideas when he was having trouble thinking up a mock of 'speed', and that movie was the first thing that came to my mind (never actually mentioned it though).

I am late shut up Kramlack was lazy and didn't finish anything he was satisfied with, so I am the only one to cross the finish line. Meanwhile, his body is in a ditch several miles down the track. WHO WOULD LIKE ME TO EXPLAIN THE IDEA.

Meanwhile, Ashkin wouldn't stop saying how bad his stuff was, even though it's fucking awesome. Now make dis game.
(Also yes, I didn't finish, R.I.P)

Okay, the idea is basically a parkour turf wars TBS. Strategy battle system like Advance Wars/Fire Emblem, but battles take place in a Canabalt-like minigame thing, where skill is required as well as strategy in the overworld. There are two stats and only two- speed and style. Speed is the shoe-thing, and style is the music note thing. Style is basically strength, while speed affects both movement speed and agility in battles. There would also be some kind of capturing thing where you move close to a lamp-post or bench or any urban furniture and capture it. It turns your color, and the more captured objects you have in the area, the more powerful your team becomes. Or something like that. Mechanics are still pretty fuzzy, but to sum it up in one sentence: TBS about parkour turf wars with quick, skill-based battles.
