Add this one! Blockland - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=95710780&searchtext=

First I was thinking "Great. Another Minecraft clone...", but NO, HELL NO!

It's awesome! The game was released in 2004 (before Minecraft) and have a lot more than i was expecting. Just checking the videos I was laughing and be amazed! Definitively a thumbs up!

Haven't played Blockland in years and years. Looks to have come along nicely.

Structurally, it's nothing like Minecraft. Nonetheless, I think it's better for creative building, because you can do finer detail & more variety on a similar scale- every cool thing I've seen in Minecraft has been built big by necessity. And a good variety of solid colors beats the hell out of a few peculiarly ugly textures. I'm blown away by that Myst Island shot!

Highly recommend you guys check it out.

They have (had?) some issue where the %s randomly fluctuate; might be just that bug messing with you.  http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/discussion/864945401064531676/?appid=765

Yeah great selection of cool games.

Im one of the creators of Exodus, a Metroidvania game for PC.

Thread on TIGSource :
http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=26740.0

-------------------------------------------------

Im not here to tell you to add us on your list, I understandd that our game is considered as an amateurish game (or little flash game), I don't know why.

We are making this game because we love old gameplay and exploration-oriented platformer. It remain a classic game in it's mechanics, but we put a lot of effort to create a fresh and HD visual style, whith smooth animations.

My question is :
Do you think we are completely wrong with our game ?
Do you think 2D Metroidvania game must be 16-bit-like game ?

We have totally no visibility, Im not a marketing genius (just a little animator), but since 1 year Im trying to contact specialised sites or fan made indie forum (via mail, FaceBook and Twitter), always whithout any response.

Im not crying here because no one want to share some news about Exodus, no, just really want to know WHERE we were wrong with Exodus, and what can I do to improve that !

Thank you.

idea: make a new thread, copy-paste your OP into it and make a couple "reserved" empty posts, then lock this one. i could try merging the old thread with the new one but that'll probably fuck up the post order in some way.

C.A. just delete the first four replies to the original post and Abraham will then have the first reply to continue his list.

dont lock this one, lock the other one and unlock it just to add titles, keep this one open for suggestions and drive-by-spamm devs

Or just link to a collection and add TIGer's games to it.

Deadly Rooms of Death is on Greenlight. Easily my favorite puzzle game series, and a regular favorite of TIGsource regulars for ages. They promise to port all the older games as DLC with some attractive package deals, which means a bonanza of content in short order (including the extremely excellent Journey to Rooted Hold).

Take the next post you make, whichever one it might be, start listing more games, then link that from the opening post.

you could remove the genre column; it's not all that important anyway since usually you can guess the genre of a game from its picture and title
