ROM CHECK FAIL's stage should just switch between all other stages in the game at random.

Mondo Medicals/Agency stage: Background is black with Shouty Guy on a pedestal. five grayish platforms hovering on midair in a star pattern. Elevator pads on the lower platforms carry one all the way to the very top platform. Platforms occasionally move or turn 90 degrees.

Mondo Man must shout at you the whole time.

And it'd be nice if the stage could screw with you in subtle ways. Goodness knows how.

That is all.

How about not a RCF level, but a level that uses a RCF-inspired mechanic?
It should be easy to do - make three generic level layouts that can be switched at random, each utilizing a mixture of already existing tiles from other stages?
The more I think about it, the more I think RCF should be sort of a "Final Destination" level. One or a few simple platforms, but the background and detail is changing constantly.

Yes! the guy wouldn't be that good of a character, but any IWBTG stage would rock  Hand Metal Left

I'd say the design would be something to the likes of these:

And just for the sake of it being by Annabelle:

Excuse me if this has already been suggested, but has anyone considered a stage based on A Game for Three Year Olds? Not sure exactly how it would work, but I imagine it could lead to interesting results.

I just think a level based on that one area from Untitled Story, with the bird statue, would be a good level. The floaty platforms could phase in and out, I guess, but mainly it's because it's got a giant bird in it.

If not that, at least some sort of Untitled Story stage, it's got some good scenery. Maybe Mountainside Evil.

Nah, Dark Grotto would be the coolest place for a Brawl level. That or maybe the ice castle.

Can't deny it, the big bird is the most iconic scene in An Untitled Story. Even people who have only played the demo have seen it.

Sooo, for the seconds milestone there are three levels planned. I think it's a good time we decide on which stages should be next.
My suggestions are: Naija's homestage, a Dwarf stage and maybe the Omega Darn stage from Noitu Love 2?

Also once we have decided on the levels we should think about how it could be layed out, what it should look like and maybe start working on some mockups!

If we can't decide on which stages to work out next, I could also start a poll on a smaller selection..

Whatcha thinkin'?

Well, definitely Naija's stage, seeing how completed she is.

The other two sound good to, but Naija really needs a stage most right now. :D

Aquaria and Noitu Love stages are a must. They both have great locations, and we already have music for them.

I still think the Sun Temple is the best location for Naija's stage. It's the most significant area that's not underwater, and all the spinning gears give me an excuse to start work on moving platforms.

A Dwarf Fortress stage sounds okay, too, but I think it might be better to work on stages from games that aren't already getting a lot of attention, like Knytt or Mondo Medicals.

Yes, Sun Temple!
Seeing how I received a great Orchestra soundfont recently, I shall start plugging away at music again right now!
