I couldn't think of anything super clever for this (my first thought was a bank heist, but I don't think I could come up with and polish enough clever puzzles to go with it) so instead I am using this as a learning opportunity, and trying to complete something in Unity, which I've never successfully done before. So I'm trying to make a simple platformer - which will hopefully be a cute happy world full of rainbows and sunshine.  And then you come along Evil

I'm quite happy with what I've got so far.  It's really simple, but it's a more complete game than I've ever had in Unity before, and I learned a lot about animations.  It's a very basic "walk on the tiles and they fall away, try to destroy the whole level" kind of dealy. If I have time, I'll try to make the bunny/puppy actually get in your way so you have to kick them off the edge of the world Evil

I added fully functioning bullets and shooting, you sway your gun while walking and sprinting and even when walking the sway can make a visible effect on your bullet moves. So I hope that you'll be shooting while still!

Also, the reloading system disables your weapon for two thirds of a second and you actually have to equip it back, I left it so that players actually try to get the feeling of the reload time rather that just spamming left click

This is what my game looks like. I have a feeling I might not be able to complete it though.

I guess I'll post a screenshot from my LD48 entry in here. Progress is great but you'd expect that from me. Downloads are also available for the very first build: mac, windows, löve2d

The Mighty Destoryer!

Slightly confused typing, no surprise in a ld48.

Your map, generated or designed? Those grey cobbles need less saturation I think.

Designed, sadly I don't have the time to invest in a generator

Oh god another 13 hours of this? I'm not sure I can take it.

I 'fixed' the AI and attack system, so as a result nothing works for the past several hours that I really needed to be spending getting some game in there rather than just having three sprites that try (and fail often, derp) to kill each other. The only thing stopping me from just going to bed is that I'm not doing this at home.
