Hi guys, my friends and I set up a game development company last year and we published our first game on Android mid Feb this year. Here are the download links:
-Google Play      http://bit.ly/XbXfHR
-AmazonTM (Free)  http://amzn.to/W0hYU2
-AmazonTM (Paid - Ad free)    http://amzn.to/11WSo57

On monetization challenges, we had banked on Google's in-app purchase only to later realize Google merchant services are not developed in Kenya, so in-app purchases can't happen. We cant even sell our pro version on Play. Funny enough Google Wallet services are developed and one can buy the whole Appstore if the want.
I guess everybody here knows distribution is a problem. There's a time all our Fb accounts were blocked thinking we're spammers.

With that, for our next game we want to talk to a third party monetization company (my gut feeling is telling me Tapjoy) and we want to contact a games publisher. Could you guys kindly recommend for us the best Publisher(s) and monetization companies for indies. And if any of the two companies come across this post, please contact me.

You can also suggest anything you think can help our new company.

Regards,
Blaise Kinyua.

This is interesting that game companies finally emerge from black africa. Good luck guys!

However, i think you should review your thinking:

 - Most indies don't have publishers as it is the point of being indie...
 - there are publishers helping indies, but I think you need to show success before them to be interested...

For payment processors, currently BTMicro and FastSpring are the most recommanded, but I don't know if your location wold be a problem. I think it would help to have the account in their possession then transfer the money regularly to your place, but you'll have to see with them if they can do it without fireing alarms in bank systems.
See this page for a list of payment processors with useful data: http://www.pixelprospector.com/the-big-list-of-payment-processors/

Yeah, guess my friends and I were tired of sitting around while the world moved forward  Smiley

Anyway, thanks a lot for the pointers. I guess we'll continue working harder on self publishing till we blow. I'll check out BMT Micro and fast Spring.

Check out our game and give us feedback. Also spread the word please.

There's this new publishing platform called Chillingo, they are part of EA Mobile. They polish, promote and publish games of all kinds and work with many countries. Perhaps with Kenya?

WARNING: The game must be very good for them to accept it. They must have good reasons to do so.

We'll polish our gaming making skills and approach them with our next release. Thanks for the suggestion.
