@PythonBlue
I think it definitely sounds ok. Got a few "beginner"ish notes in there, but definitely ok

@Mammothstuds
Listened to Sand King Palace. I think it's got some good and some bad moments in there. Keep working!

I appreciate the honesty of your critique. At the risk of getting this thread off-topic, anything in particular you can think of that I could improve?

Let me also use this opportunity to make my fellow musicians aware of a small competition I made, where you are to set various games to music for fun and practice. Check it out here: https://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=63961

Hey guys, hope everyone's having a good day. I have a youtube full of original game music, I feel limited because I only use free vsts, but I'm practicing making stock plugins sound good so that I'll be better off when I get the money to buy vsts. Here's one of my latest tracks

Hi guys,
I recently found some inspiration in the trailers for Forza 7 and The Last Night.
Feedback is always appreciated. Will do a proper mix and master soon.

Here are a few original songs I made for In Retrospect.  My style is, loosely put, upbeat / emotional / punk / chiptunes etc.

Hi all! Just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. Video game scores are a big part of why I got into making music, and inspire my stuff to this day. Still haven't had the privilege to work on an actual game score yet, but hoping to find some collaborators on here. Anyway, here's a selection of my favorite tracks:

https://soundcloud.com/virtual-perfection-cowboy/donna [ANY TWIN PEAKS FANS IN THE HOUSE?  Coffee]

Let me know what you guys think!

Best,

latest for the upcoming switch game Zarvot

experimenting with wholetone, more thru-composed material, left-hand-only chord melodies, & playing a thumb piano thru a whammy pedal

the second half is the first but with the electric pianos replaced with a pad for some cheap textural variety ingame, still not sure about that transition but there's still time
