Well they all worked very similar so it had to been done, but its finally over. Yeah don't worry when I polish the art they won't look like swords XD




In other news, I started mining and fishing. You hit your hoe around in dirt and look for ores, and every once in a while you find a hole, where you goto the deeper part of the mine, and can find better stuff the deeper you go.


Fishing works like Animal Crossing, you wait for the bobber thing to go under the water, and then you let go of the action button.

Its not the prettiest update ever, but I have most of the environment mapped, now obviously I have huge plans to pretty up this horribly boring image you see, like a big river from the mountains, buildings, (the forest will be expanded as well for certain events.) But they're all in the game, and all walkable on :D

So this is just the start of something that will be beautiful later on.

woa 15 pages.

Anyways, I've been working a bit on and off today, but I had to do a lot of stuff today, so I can't really share much.

Tomorrow I'll be seeing my cousin off to some middle east country, she'll be there for 2 years to teach, so we're kinda throwing her a goodbye party. Its a long trip and I won't want to dive back into coding when I get back, so i'll see you guys in a few days. (or maybe sooner, but I know I won't have time to work for a while).

Thanks for the support!

Well i'm all dialed in at home again, and I picked up a fancy new monitor for dual screen. With my new monitor side by side my old monitor, I can't believe how blue my old monitor was without me noticing, i'm surprised it didn't effect my art.

Anyways, i'm back and i'm coding. Prepare for updates!

I've been checking this thread and I decided to add it to my watchlist!

For I love Harvest Moon and I like where this is going.

Also, if you need any assistance with graphic design or an additional artist I'm open to assist, as I get the best way to keep improving is to actually use my skills on projects Smiley

Anyway this looks very promising, really looking forward to see where it goes!

Thanks for the support, glad to know I have your assistance if I need it, thanks.

Anyways today I got a ton of stuff done that was boring but needed with map transitions, and i'm glad that they're over with, something I can show however is, the cave!

its on the mountain, this is where you mine. yay

edit

i forgot to mention the normal "time" doesnt tick when youre in a mine, instead youre there until you pass out or until the timer runs out (when the mine closes) and you leave at 8pm or something late

I am looking forward to play this. I always loved Harvest Moon and Rune Factory. Have you mentioned any Rune Factory elements yet?
Anyway, good job! and keep it going, don't hurry and take as much time as necessary to keep polishing this!

basic mining ores are in-game, the deeper you go the better chance at finding a better more expensive ore.

ores can be used to make stuff like better tools, or give them to people as gifts, or sell them for good money.
