CONCEPT
It will be an intensive tactic arcade shooter game with demons, mages, spells, mechs and hight tech weapons. We would like to tell a deep story focussing on adventure/exploration Metroidvania-style , but for now we are going to keep it simple and just focus on a fun gameplay, heavy atmosphere and stylized pixel art.

Thanks you all for the comments guys! Looks excellent, and that font is pretty cool.
we were a little bit afraid of the readability of the logo. Most part of our friends took like 20 seconds to figure out what was the name, but at then they guessed correctly. For now we are going to take the risk of maintaining the logo as is. what kind of shooting tactics do you plan to implement. it is difficult in 2d sidescrollers.
We have some good references of gameplay we want to achieve. But we feel that we should reveal the mechanics once we have them more defined. For now we are more focused on the concept. But what is for sure is that the tactics you take in order to complete the levels will play an important role in the game. We do not have the gameplay yet. I'm working in some mc animations. I will wait to have at least a few movements, in order to not post a single one

Thanks guys! Finally, we have something in motion to show you. Mc basic animations with the basic equipment: idle, idle break, walking, running, stoping, shooting, jumping and getting hit. When we implement this, we want to add a shadow, and some smoke interactions on the ground, but that details will come later on What do you think?

I like the dark feel that this gives off What tools/techniques are you using for the artwork? Do you guys have any previous projects I could check out? Edit: Oh! That's the logo! I actually just thought that was an example of the side of a building with long claw marks in it. I would definitely make the font a little easier to read; even knowing the name of the game, I still can't really make it out
