Congrats on all the exciting recent developments! I assume the show will be on youtube after the stream? Will likely check it out if that's the case. Good luck.

Well deserved. That's what happens when you start with a cool unique concept and you don't rush it to completion. Good job!

Did a little Q&A with My Games Lounge, there were some fun questions :D

Quote
Why should gamers download / buy your game?

To play something neat that isn’t Call Of Duty: Dick Puncher 12, of course!

This is fun, a chinese youtuber (of course, they don't have access to youtube so it's a different site) did a long let's play of Guild of Dungeoneering:
http://www.bilibili.tv/video/av1144709/

It's a little hard to work out, even with google translate, but I think that's 70K views, over 5K 'notes' by viewers that appear as you watch and 300+ comments below the video. (the numbers in the screenshot above are from yesterday)

Fun little song 2 mins from the end when they hit the endless-boss-battle bug Tongue

Update: v0.6.19 May 27th

Changes since the last version
- the Guild is an equal opportunities exploiter employer. Female dungeoneers have now been added.
- EMBRO chat now happens in the background, you can start your turn while he rants at you
- when EMBRO has invaded the board the camera swaps to him when he's talking offscreen before he takes his move

Play this version:
Browser (Flash)
Installable (AIR)

Here's the Average Giants episode that I did live last week, haven't watched it yet but it was a lot of fun at the time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54YfYn2w_X8&feature=youtu.be&a

hm.. the youtube vid starts a little bit into the show, oddly. Yep, missing the first half hour or so, but still there's a lot of good chat about the game in there Smiley

Great news! So I just found out I've been awarded an Irish government grant I've been working on for a while. This means I get paid a salary for the next 6 months to work on my startup (Gambrinous & Guild of Dungeoneering). So I won't have to do any freelance programming for moneys and can focus 100% on finishing the game!

 Beer!

Awesome news!!!

Ive been looking at grants available in the uk recently... sadly living in brighton means I am eligible for being laughed out of a building and told the south east doesn't need to support people as its prosporous.. yay geography.. Oh well maybe move back to Newcastle one day and reap those wikidly good regional development grants that are available everywhere but where I live Tongue ...
