what if
okay
what if instead of this entire game

you eat food then swim in the lake
okay

and its called

lets go cramping

I was all about this (I mean, who really wanted to make this whole entire game anyway?), but sadly, Snopes Says: False

Looks like I'm stuck making the whole thing after all.  Epileptic

Congrats on being greenlit! Hand Thumbs Up Left

Also, have you considered letting the players go Hansel and Gretel and let them leave a trail of sticks/crumbs/little rocks?

A friend of mine recently shared a story of how she would play a game as a kid: one group of kids would get a ten-minute head-start to craft a trail using chalks, and then the second group, the "hunters", would go look for the first group (who also would divide and hide along the trail)

Anyway, the idea of tracking and creating your own trail to backtrack sounds like fun and very much in the spirit of outdoor survival to me.

I recall seeing this game on Kickstarter, then I lost the link, and tried to find it repeatedly, googling things like 'low poly survival game with dungeons' to no avail. Now that I've found it again I'm just as amazed. However I have now noticed that this topic hasn't been posted in for a while  Concerned are you still alive? I'd really enjoy an update.

PS -- What engine is this made in? Custom engine? I'd assume Unity, but I can't be sure.

This hasn't been updated in almost a year. Is the project still alive?

Did a tiny bit of research, found the twitter account. They posted something about the project two days ago.(A photo of a man wearing a shirt with "Let's go camping!" on it.), so I'd assume they are still working on it.  Tears of Joy

Ah, good. Too bad they seem to have abandoned this thread, but I can imagine it's hard to keep up the communication across many different channels.

Yeah, it's cool to see it's still in development. Hope everything continues to go well for them.
