Dead bodies lying about the street, people carrying wounded people into small vans and taxis.  Lots of rubble.

More likely than not removed because some station has a copyright claim on the material, but then youtube tends to stay clear of controversial/possibly upsetting subject-matter  (there was a case last year where they removed videos of torture by the egyptian police, which weren't the subject of ownership claims).  Why they can't just mark such things as having mature content like so much else on youtube I don't know.

Thanks,

Speaking of this issue, what I find interesting about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is how modern standards are affecting how it's playing out. If this were 1000 years ago, or even 200 years ago, what usually happens when a population conquers and displays another population militarily is that the losing population become the slaves of the winning population, or are mostly killed, are in some other way totally dominated by them. This was seen countless times, a familiar example is the American colonies and the Native Americans. But because that's no longer as acceptable, instead Palestine tries to get its own state, when in earlier years they would all be slaves of the Israelis instead, or killed in a genocide or something. So comparatively speaking, the constant conflict there isn't that bad compared to what would have happened previously when one people conquer another and move in.

(Not that what is happening there isn't horrible, just that it's incomparably better than what the American colonies did to the Native Americans and so on.)

Putting my beliefs aside over which people have the right to Israel, I would just like to say that I am disgusted that people can manage to cause this much death and destruction so quickly. It's the domino effect that has prolonged this conflict: 3 hamas killed-> 50 rockets into israel-> airstike of gaza-> Qassam rockets fired-> god knows what else. It's sick, just sick.

My uncle just sent me an AsianPod this morning. The instruction manuals are, of course, in Chinese, so I'll have to get my friend over here to help me with the software.

I got some ghibli dvds to complete my collection and some chocolate and stuff.

For my brother I pixelled a mock title screen for a game involving me and him in Tokyo and got it printed on a canvas. It turned out AWESOME. Will post a photo in the pixels thread in a week or so.

Yeah, that would be one reason I want so many LEGO bricks. The others is because I still enjoy RPG's, the pen and paper kind, and like using LEGO minifigs as miniatures. A decent game in my steampunk world is on my list of goals for next year.

True Norwegian Black Metal, the book I ordered on the twenty fourth finally came in the mail. I've only looked at a few of the photos inside and I can deduce from that that it's a work of high quality. Now I need a coffee table to place it on because I haven't a shelf tall enough to store it.

Ha, no.. those are old.. pez is new and rates the spot on the display shelf.

hmmm, needs more mmo

There are more mmo's here..Horizons, CoH, CoV, Tabula Rasa... prolly more that just aren't coming to mind atm...

It helps to understand that we are ferret people.. we've had ferrets for over 10 years.. sometimes as many as 5 at a time.. They are so adorable.. and it's not always easy to come across ferret items..
