Frankly, I think there are a lot of obvious inspirations for the game, judging from the trailer. But it looks very good in it's own right, especially very solid. I guess based on how varied it seems to be I'd just be hoping for more than the 3 hours of gameplay stated on the page. It looks like it could be quite lengthy Smiley

This is the first I have ever heard of this game, and it looks really solid. Freeware, shareware or what?

According to the official blog, Tormishire will require a payment but I dunno how many bucks it will cost. Anyway, seems that a demo will be available, too.
Well with the time he's put into the game I'd say so.

Wow, I remember seeing the first trailer for this, and it looked fine.

Now, it looks great! Can't wait to see more!

Looks like its making great progress, but there was too much empty cave running in the trailer.

And true, the portraits could do with some improvement.

...I think there was also a clip of the main character running by some badly drawn houses or huts.

Definately got a Castlevania vibe from it. Personally I hope there really isn't alot of text to read, but a really compelling objective to it all. For some reason, the little tiny man's animations had alot of effort behind em, and I hope there's a good reason for it, cos I can see myself totally driving through this game. If it's got a kind of generic or really complex plot though, I'd probably give up at a hard part.

Alot of information on that HUD. Is that good or bad?

Oh, and I love the speed on it.
