Let's be frank hotline miami is more outrageous than hatred, so is GTA, so is the last of us, and they have more problematical contents stealthily inside them. Hatred is stupid child play, more straightforward in intent, less in execution.

idk GTA didn't really live up to the level of violence /the press/ claimed it had till like 5. And then 5 kind of crossed my violence tolerance threshold.

Yeah as I think I said earlier or elsewhere, he kind of ruined the game for me? Partially because the violence, partially because it's like... ostensibly GTAV was being satirical but I wasn't really sure that Rockstar was being ironic with like... what Trevor was doing?

That's one huge problem of GTAV -- it can't even set on a tone. It wants to be The Sopranos, a Michael Mann heist movie, and an episode of SouthPark all at the same time.
